Delhi is reeling under a heatwave and the temperature in the capital city touched 40.1 degrees Celsius on Monday. It also hampered the Holi celebrations as well. India Meteorological Department said that this was the hottest day in March since 76 years. Delhi recorded 40.5 degrees Celsius on March 31 in 1945. It is said that low wind speed and clear skies are leading to high temperatures in the city.
