TRS Minister KT Rama Rao held a live session on Twitter today, where he answered several questions posed by Twitter users. When asked about a potential lockdown in the state of Telangana, KTR said that it is highly unlikely that there would be another lockdown, and that it is the responsibility of all to stay safe and protect themselves.
Speaking about the recently inaugurated direct flight from Hyderabad to Chicago, KTR said that it will take some time for a direct flight from Hyderabad to Dallas to be in place.
KTR said that the government would issue a notification for the filling up of various state government posts, post the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections. Addressing the recommendation that Niti Ayog did to the Centre a few years ago, about providing the state of Telangana with financial assistance for Mission Bhaghiratha and Mission Kaktiya Schemes, KTR said that the Centre extends its support based on merit, and not based on political affiliations.
KTR also said that we could only hope for the reopening of schools and colleges very soon, which were shut down last month due to the pandemic. He also said that the IT corridor at Raidurg would be inaugurated very soon and that the Nacharam-Cherlapally IT corridor development would start soon. He even said that the government had approved a few private developers’ proposals to build IT parks in East Hyderabad as part of GRID policy.
