Hyderabad
The Qutab Shahi Tombs is one of the city's monuments with a serene atmosphere any time of the day is seeing some excellent repair works and touching up throughout the entire campus with parks and tombs. Aga Khan Trust For Culture(AKTC) has been taking these works on themselves and is the State Government's partner in maintaining the seven tombs.
During a session in the assembly, the Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development(MAUD), KT Rama Rao, applauded the ATKC and recognized how they have taken this up and are determined to see this project's end. KTR appealed to the speaker that as a government, we should get this iconic location, a UNESCO World Heritage Site Status, and explained how the Chief Minister and Tourism Minister got a status as such to the Ramappa Temple.
KTR also emphasized the revival of the road from the 7 Tombs to Golconda Fort and revamping many other locations elements. The latter explained to the assembly how this would put Hyderabad in a much higher position globally, especially since the city faces the pressure of Ramappa Temple getting the status while the city has far more famous structures than the temple.
WhileAga Khan Foundation had signed an MOU to complete works scheduled to complete the project by the end of 2022, KTR confirmed that bringing UNESCO to Qutub Shahi Tombs would boost the city. Then the state government will move aggressively to get Charminar that status as it was termed incomplete after its tentative inclusion into the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2010.
