The winners of the Jubilee Hills Cooperative House Building Society (JHCHBS) elections were announced on Sunday and now the winners have their hands full trying to fulfill the several promises they had made before the elections.
The latest reports suggest that the members of the new panel have decided that top priority would be accorded to ensuring that every eligible person gets membership in the society, developing open spaces for the society members, and identifying encroachments for legal action.
The newly elected members are Pathapati Nagaraju, Rajendra Prasad, A Murali Mukund, Suneela Reddy, Ravindranath Bollineni, Dr. Om Prakash Agrawal, Adala Himabindu Reddy, Srilaxmi Reddy Madadi, Dr. Madhava Reddy Rawla, Sujatha Seelam, S. Satish Chandra, Kusum Kumar Jetti, M. Anand Kumar, Sreenivasu Garikapati, and K Nagendra Prasad. According to TPCC working president, and businessman, Jetti Kusum Kumar, though there are many people who have bought houses in the area many did not get memberships. The newly appointed members will ensure that they get memberships which just happens to be one of the many promises they had made during elections. The office bearers will be elected within three days and they will work towards fulfilling all their promises.
A social activist, and entrepreneur, Adala Himabindu Reddy, said, "Getting a website up for the society is one of the top priority tasks, apart from ensuring the smooth transfer of membership."
