According to the board all the students will graded based on their performance in the FA1 assessment. Due to schools and colleges opening and closing at such a short notice attendance cannot be considered a criteria. In normal time attendance of upto 65-75% has always been a criteria for allowing students to attempt exams to be eligible for certain grades. But this year students who couldn’t attend FA1 will also be graded with passing marks. As per reports 90% students have taken the FA1 assessment before school was shut.
The SSC Board is likely to submit the proposal of grading based on FA1 assessment by the 26th April. Also this year the EAMCET has changed their weightage by scraping the 25% weightage from Intermediate. Until last year 25% weightage was given from Intermediate marks while calculating ranks and merit lists. This rule has been changed this year.
