Hyderabad’s Techie has made use of the new normal of working from the living room and created a new video calling app that helps teachers, students and IT professionals to make video calling a quick option. This video calling app is enabled with features like Screen sharing, Messenger, Fund Raising, HD Audio and Video Conferencing and other features which match the level of internationally known apps.
This app can be a great way to conduct conferences with higher security and also can be utilised for Government purposes. Shoeb Ahmed who is the chief technical officer along with 3 IT professionals started working on this app last year in March and launched it around August on all platforms and since then they have had a good response with 4.4 stars on IOS and 4.5 stars on Android.
Meet Hour has been rated second to Zoom and has been widely used by people in the USA, UAE and Middle East. According to Shoeb Ahmed the responses have been excellent and the usage of this app in the above mentioned regions have been done by schools, healthcare sectors, faith congregations, multinational corporations and a small section of the government has also been using this app lately. This app has the edge over Zoom because of the unlimited free conferencing that it offers in comparison to the 45minute free offered by Zoom. Currently this startup has 4 members only and are looking to build a bigger base in India.
