Madhuri Srikanth , an artist from Telangana has achieved a great feat as she has been invited to Milan, Italy to showcase her works at ‘Romantica’ an international art exhibition between April 22nd to May 3. This exhibition is organised by a contemporary art gallery in Italy.
Three of her paintings will be sold at this exhibition which are priced at 2000$ each. All her paintings have been done in an unconventional way which have gotten her this opportunity to showcase at an international level. One is a Benevolent Buddha (acrylic painting on a clay board), Golden Geisha and Shadow Sway (Tanjore painting with 0.22 carat gold, semi-precious stones accompanied with poster colours on wooden panels).
Born and brought up in Nalgonda she is a self learned painter and has learnt it the natural way. She has always believed that painting on canvas is the best way to express her self and live her dreams. She is now a mother of two and has mastered more than 6 forms of painting without any formal training and is passionate about learning new art forms. She is also mastering sand art and is working on exquisite tanjore paintings.
