The Government of Telangana is under the questioning of the High Court for its methods to contain the virus and its spreading in the state. The HC is not satisfied with the measures and questions the law enforcement and guidelines of the current curfew as well. The High Court has denied the numbers of the state government and presented the real statistics against the government list.
The High court has asked the government to allow hospitals both private and government to admit patients based on the covid symptoms and not based on availability of RT-PCR report during admission. The government is asked to release a media bulletin of all the required statistics and updates on a daily basis. With districts outside Hyderabad are also recording cases in large numbers adequate testing is the need of the hour in those districts of Jagityala, Medchal, Kamareddy, Ranga Reddy and Malkajgiri.
Also with migrant workers caught in a dilemma the state government has been asked to set up rehabilitation centres and have helpline numbers in place for any queries and any other issues.The HC has also asked the state government to ensure the ambulances in the state are available and helpline apart from regular contact is in place in order to receive calls and address issues.
