Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had clarified to the state about his decision of not having a lockdown of the state and how lockdown impacts the people in the state. However, any of this isn't helping the cause of fighting the pandemic. The people in the state are showing greater vigilance and looking at self-imposed lockdown as a better option.
The state's Trade Union is now really scared by how the virus is attacking everyone, and neither the government nor the people seem to have clarity over the new ways that this virus is spreading. During business hours, business establishments come in contact with at least 50 people. While this number might be considered relatively less when compared to pre covid levels, it is terrifying in the current day scenario. The traders union and many shop owners have realized that hospital bills are higher than their business.
The businesses in central shopping locations see a downslide as regular citizens also consider self-imposed lockdown not to contract the virus and not contribute to the spread. The shopping scene Pre Covid before Eid was buzzing 24x7. But with Eid less than a week away this year has been a second straight year that trade unions are looking to shut shops and put their safety and their family first and avoid those exorbitant hospital bills by opening their shop and contracting the virus.
