Medicover Hospitals have conducted India's Biggest COVID-19 Vaccination Drive in HITEX, Madhapur, in association with Cyberabad Police and Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC). The hospital claims to have inoculated 40,000 people in this drive. The HITEC City junction just near the HITEX choked big time with vehicles rushing to the venue.
A less than one-kilometer drive between Hotel Avasa and HITEC City junction signal, the vehicles were struck for more than 45 minutes. However, this traffic indeed eased the rush inside the HITEX. The drive happened at the three huge hangars at the venue. Each hall had 100 counters, which means a total of 300 counters.
Medicover had deployed 600 nurses to administer the vaccine. So those who arrived at HITEX could easily get the jab and are out in ten minutes. People who have booked their slots for the vaccination were skeptical initially as over 40,000 people are expected to take the jab, but the entire process happened smoothly.
The vaccination happened only to those who registered prior, and on the day of vaccination, the beneficiary only happened to scan the QR code generated on their mobile. Around 45% of the beneficiaries were young women. Nearby News View: More such drives should be conducted, but having them in various parts of the city will make things easy.
