With COVID-19 cases on a continuous decline, Telangana Government had eased the Lockdown further in the state. Accordingly, the Lockdown has been extended for another ten days with revised relaxation timings. Now, all the activities will be allowed between 6 AM and 5 PM. People will be given a grace period of another one hour to reach their homes.
All the shops and commercial establishments should pull down their shutters by 5 PM. There will be Strict enforcement of lockdown from 6 PM and the 6 AM next day. While the government says this is a Lockdown extension, it is more or less a night curfew for the state.
Meanwhile, 1,897 new COVID-19 cases and 15 deaths have been reported in Telangana during the 24-hour period From Monday 5.30 PM till 5.30 PM on Tuesday. GHMC has contributed 182 of the total new cases. The Daily positivity rate remains at 1.42%, as 1,33,134 tests were done during that period. The active cases in the state are at 24,306.
