Water troubles are returning to the city, and mass repair works have started since the unlocking. Unfortunately, these mass repair works have required the water supply to be cut for a day or two, which is slightly problematic for citizens.
The latest water cut that is scheduled to take place is on July 5 due to the pipeline work at Nagole to complete the proposed Nagole Flyover. Usually, no water supply for such projects happens in small clusters of different areas daily, but the scheduled task at Nagole will see a big chunk of sites lose water all at once. HMWS&SB, who runs the city's water supply, is also skeptical if they will control such a big cut in water on Monday the 5th, which is the beginning of a week.
The areas that won't have access to water are the cities most prominent residential locations and include commercial establishments. The following areas will not have a water supply on 5th Balapur, Maisaram, Barkas, Mekalamandi, Bholakpur, Tarnaka, Lalapet, Boudhanagar, Marredpally, Railways, MES, Cantonment, Prakash Nagar, Patigadda, Hasmathpet, Ferozguda, Goutham Nagar, Vaishali Nagar, BN Reddy Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Auto Nagar, Maruthi Nagar, Mahindra Hills, Elugutta, Ramanthapur, Uppal, Nacharam, Habsiguda, Chilkanagar, Beerappagadda, Boduppal (partial), Meerpet and Badangpet. However, this might be a one-time thing, and HMWS&SB regrets the inconvenience of its people for the mass cut.
