One man's adventure at the right time has saved the lives of two children trapped in a car that caught fire. The incident took place at PV Narasimha Rao Expressway Pillar No. 135. According to Rajendranagar ACP Sanjay Kumar, Inspector Kanakayya, and Traffic Inspector Shyamsunder Reddy, Shailaja, a resident of Mamidipalli village, along with her three-month-old son, six-year-old son Srihan, and 12-year-old son Vijay, were on their way to Banjara Hills from home in a Hyundai car at around 12 noon on Monday.
As soon as the car reached the top of the expressway, a red light warning came on. But Shailaja proceeded without recognizing it as an accident warning. The children said the car smelled like burnt wires. With this, Shailaja stopped the car at Pillar No. 135. A huge fire broke out, and immediately Shailaja got down, taking the baby out.
While trying to open the door to save the children in the back seat, she found out the door got locked. Stunned, she and the children screamed for help. At the same time, Ravi, another motorist, noticed the accident. With the help of the equipment in his car, he smashed the car windows and brought out the children trapped inside. Meanwhile, the car got completely burnt. Firefighters rushed to the scene and put off the fire. After receiving the information, Rajendranagar ACP Sanjay Kumar reached the spot and inspected the car accident. ACP Sanjay Kumar lauded Ravi Sahas for saving children from the car accident.
