Petrol Prices in Hyderabad and other parts of the country are just compelling people to have a long and confused face every time they visit the fuel station. With the constant change in rates, people are going crazy.
Hyderabad has seen the fuel rates fluctuate five times in the past 12 days and make people go clueless as the people are slowly making adjustments to everything else in the life as petrol and diesel are necessary. From Rs.103.78/- on July 6 to Rs.105.52/- on July 16. The diesel rates are also racing in the city as they climbed from Rs. 97.40 on July 6 to Rs. 97.96 on July 16.
The protests in the city regarding the unreasonable rise of fuel rates are slowly intensifying as Congress is staging protests and recently planned to march to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to submit a memorandum but couldn't make and shifted their march to Ambedkar statue. The march was a chaotic event and saw the arrest of newly elected TPCC President Revanth Reddy and acting president Anjan Kumar Yadav of TPCC and many party workers.
The current rise of fuel rates is slowly becoming the root cause of many other issues about regular humans and people involved in trade and transport. The above rates are compelling them indirectly to increase rates of their products and additional charges. The ridesharing giants like OLA, Uber, Dotcabs, and Meru haven't revised their rates yet, but the current rate of increase can be uncertain for these companies and the thousands of drivers that work under them.
