Hyderabad
The Telangana government has decided to set up a link road directly from Jubilee Hills to the Outer Ring Road directly over Lanco Hills to connect the Gachibowli Financial District. Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has made proposals to construct a new link road of about 2.35 km.
A large number of new residential houses are under construction in Manikonda, Narsingi, Puppalguda, and Neknampur areas closer to IT companies in Madhapur and Rayadurg areas. In addition, the number of residents in the Lanco Hills and Chitrapuri colonies has also increased significantly. Proposals were made to build 80 feet to 120 feet wide to connect all of these areas.
A link road has already been constructed at Rayadurg Malkam Cheruvu connecting Jubilee Hills Road Nos. 70 and 45. As a continuation of this, a new link road has been proposed from the Malkam Cheruvu side to the toll plaza at Nanakramguda on the Outer Ring Road over Manikonda Jagir, Chitrapuri Colony, and Lanco Hills. If the construction of this road is completed, the traffic congestion on the main road in Gachibowli and Nanakramguda areas will be reduced. The commute between Jubilee Hills Road No. 45 and the Outer Ring Road, Financial District, and Kokapet will become easy.
