The GMR Hyderabad International Airports Limited(GHIAL) has kickstarted its direct flight to Srinagar through IndiGo. This is IndiGO's first-ever direct flight service from Hyderabad to the capital of the Union Territory. A senior official from Indigo congratulated the first passengers of this direct flight. This flight will be available four days a week ( Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) with only one flight per day as of now.
IndiGo has been speeding up on the lost sales during another spell of covid that kept tourists and frequent flyers aways from traveling. The airline company has stringent covid guidelines with variations for seven different countries to which travel restrictions are currently lifted. The people who will be denied boarding the flight due to non-compliance or any issues related to the covid protocol will have their flight canceled, and they will be eligible to get a refund of the non-airline taxes and but will have to settle for non-refundable fare charges.
