Health care of senior citizens is a highly debatable issue, and in India, most senior citizens have to tend for themselves when it comes to health. As one ages, usually, one develops complications, and this requires specialized and timely care. To address this very issue, Yashoda Hospitals has launched their special health package for senior citizens at Rs 75.
The idea was also to coincide with 75 years of Indian independence, and it is aptly called the ‘Freedom to Good Health’ package. For further details, the package includes CBP, RFT, lipid profile, LFT, RBS, ECG, and consultation with a dietician and physiotherapist.
The package will be available till August 31, 2021, and can be availed at all three branches of Yashoda, including Somajiguda, Secunderabad, and Malakpet. According to the director of Yashoda, Dr. Pavan Kumar Gorukanti, it is a small effort on the part of the Yashoda group to help senior citizens in the country. He further adds that as people age, their bodies tend to become weak, and they become prone to life-threatening diseases. Hence, he reiterates that regular health check-ups are a must.
The whole idea is to help the individuals monitor their own health and get an accurate diagnosis for any ailment at an early stage so that they get timely and better care, shares Dr. Kumar.
