Every day has indeed been a new day for Hyderabad as it rapidly progresses towards urbanization and development. As a result, the government and municipal bodies are constantly focusing on changing the look of this city.
Many locations are seeing new features coming up, while some of the city's famous spots that were awesome once upon a time are restored to their former glory with a touch of innovation. The beautification taken up by GHMC and HMDA under the ideology and supervision of MAUD has been to provide the best experience to people when they step out of their homes for work or with their families for a getaway.
The iconic location of Tank Bund, which needs no introduction of its familiarity among Hyderabadis, is back to its former glory with a clean pathway throughout, stinkless water, and beautiful lighting to walk in the evening. This beautiful location is now set to see rainproof benches added by the HMDA at the PV Narsimha Rao Marg(Necklace Road) at Tank Bund.
Around 30 benches surrounding such trees will come up throughout the Necklace road and few spots of the Tank Bund for people to relax a little, enjoy the extra oxygen, and skip the rain at times. The secretary of MAUD, who constantly monitors multiple works across the city, took time to share a picture of the Rain bench on Twitter.
30 of such rain-proof benches are planned to be installed on Tank-Bund road and PVNR Marg by @HMDA_Gov .. this one was tested & was instantly popular
Apart f on providing much needed sitting arena, it will also help protect trees @KTRTRS pic.twitter.com/i8WOZXd3bR
