Megha Akash is Chennai-born to a Telugu father and Malayali mother. She was born and brought up in Chennai and predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu. The actress who made her debut in the Telugu cinema with Lie (2017), has two releases hereafter the COVID second wave. She has been a frequent visitor at the Hyderabad Airport as a result. Nearby News caught up with her for a brief chat.
"I am born and brought up in Chennai but Hyderabad is my second home. People here have showered so much love and warmth on me. I am lucky to have two releases after the second wave. Raja Raja Chora is a big hit and I am looking forward to Dear Megha releasing this Friday," the actress says.
"Dear Megha has varied emotions - love, pain, drama, and even side effects of Love. So when the movie is offered to me, I signed it instantly. I play a very calm-going girl and the emotions are quite sensible. I am sure everyone will be impressed with my performance in the film," she confidently says.
"Dear Megha is a love story but a different love story, I should say. My first crush was way back when I am in my fourth standard, the boy sitting beside me in the class. I am Single but would prefer love marriage. I do not look for fancy qualities in him. I would look forward to a guy who will be nice to me," the actress says blushing.
The beautiful actress is a travel junkie and tries to savor all the different food wherever she traveled. "I tasted Hyderabad Biryani and am in total love with it. But I could not do much sightseeing because of the pandemic and busy promotional schedules here. But I have a long list of places I will look forward to visiting very soon," the actress adds. Besides these films, the actress will also be seen in Manu Charitra and Gurthundha Seethakalam besides some interesting projects which will be announced very soon.
