GHMC is busy completing flyovers at various places and building new ones to ease the traffic congestion in the city. As a part of this drive, Cyberabad Traffic Police have imposed traffic restrictions in the surroundings up to February 15, 2022, which is for a period of 90 days.
Work on multi-level flyover and Grade Separator will be taken up from November 15, and entry of heavy vehicles and RTC buses will be restricted from Aramghar to Puranapool via Bahadurpura. Alternate routes have already been chalked out to facilitate the works.
Accordingly, traffic will be diverted towards Mailardevpally-Bandlaguda-MBNR Crossroads-Chandrayanagutta-Saidabad and Nalgonda crossroads. General traffic, including light motor vehicles such as cars, autos, motorcycles, will be allowed from Aramghar to Puranapool via SVPNPA, Bahadurpura. However, heavy vehicles will be an exception, as mentioned above.
Since the route happens to be the Bengaluru Highway, TSRTC, APSRTC, KSRTC buses ply on the route. Added to this, private travel buses, lorries also take this route. The traffic police have also ensured that there will be two alternate routes for heavy vehicles entering the city.
Cyberabad traffic police have requested the citizens to cooperate with the work executing agency and the police.
