On Wednesday, a bundle of Rs 2000 notes created a stir on the 100-feet road in Madhapur. The notes created a snarl by flying here and there and causing traffic congestion.
As per the reports, when the local police reached the spot, it was found that the notes were fake. The notes which made many people stop their vehicles in the middle of the road were actually from a children's board game.
The police revealed that several people rushed to grab the 2000 rs. notes of the Children’s Bank currency that were found on 100 Feet Road.
The incident led to traffic jams in that area, with the police having to intervene to convince the public that the 2000 rupee notes were fake currency.
