Hyderabad Police are cracking cases in a matter of hours using the latest technology. The perpetrators are being imprisoned with solid evidence. A robbery took place at a house in the Meerpet area on the outskirts of the city yesterday. Ratnakar, a retired employee, resides in Sivanarayanapuram under Meerpet.
An unidentified man broke into the house on Wednesday night and stole 31 tulas of gold and 40 tulas of silver. Ratnakar after realizing the robbery has lodged a complaint with the police at 5 PM on Wednesday. The accused was arrested within hours (at 9 PM) after examining the CCTV footage. But then, by that time, he already sold the items and bought himself a costly mobile phone and clothes for himself. A case has been registered against him.
The arrested person is K.Sudhakar alias Subhakar (27), a mason from Meerpet and a native of Nagarkurnool district. Sudhakar's modus-operandi is identifying potential targets during the day and breaking into those houses at night. He was earlier arrested in cases including murder, burglary, and automobile theft. He recently was released from prison and continued committing burglaries.
