SunRisers Hyderabad has released David Warner last year due to internal conflicts. He was shunted out of the team in an unceremonious manner. Warner, the fifth-highest runscorer in the IPL will go under the hammer at the Mega Auction in February. He is among 49 players who have listed his base price at ₹2 crores. Buzz is that SRH may bid for him once again.
It is reported that Sunrisers Management led by Tom Moody, intends to take back Warner. It is understood that Kane Williams will continue as captain. Warner will be in the team only as a player. Many franchises have their eye on David Warner. The minimum price is Rs 2 crore and the maximum is Rs 15 crore.
However, it is learned that Sunrisers Hyderabad is ready to bid up to Rs 10 crore for him. Hyderabad fans would love to see Warner coming back to the team. But then, the team management and the star batsman should iron out the differences between them so that his individual performance and the team performance will not be impacted.
