The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority is coming up with an eco-park on twenty acres on Hussain Sagar near the Necklace Road. This will include setting up tracks for morning walkers as well as growing rare plant species. Officials said they are developing the new park at a cost of Rs 15 crore without any harm to the existing tree species in the area.
The park will give an excellent view of the Hussain Sagar. Boat Rides will also be available at this Eco Park. A ‘U’ shaped bridge will be built over the Hussain Sagar. You can walk on it and see the Hussain Sagar below. Officials explained that the bridge gives tourists the feeling of standing on the Hussain Sagar. A special place is being set aside for the cultivation of vital medicinal plants in Ayurveda.
The new park will be located in the middle of PV Ghat after the waterfront on Necklace Road. Currently, the park is being cleared of weeds. They are planting new ones while keeping valuable plants intact. Greenery and other amenities are being developed so that tourists coming to Necklace Road can spend some time here.
