A fire broke out in Kukatpally on Monday. The fire broke out on the ground floor of the Holistic hospital in Nizampet. With this, thick smoke spread in the hospital at once. Hospital staff immediately provided information to fire officials. Vigilant staff evacuated the hospital and patients were rushed to other hospitals.
Firefighters have managed to bring the fire under control with five fire engines. Authorities believe the fire accident has happened due to a short circuit. About 20 ambulances were deployed at the hospital. Authorities, with the help of locals, intensified relief efforts. Locals said the accident happened around midnight.
There were seventy in-patients in the hospital when the fire accident happened and luckily, no casualties have been reported. All the patients were shifted to the other nearby hospitals. The loss of property is said to be massive as the whole CT scan, laboratory, all OTS, and machinery were reduced to ashes. A case has been registered by Kukatpally Police.
