It is known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Hyderabad to attend two events. One was inaugurating the 216-feet tall statue called the Statue of Equality, and another was to attend the 50-year celebrations of ICRISAT. Where are Hyderabad Metro funds for Telangana? Where are NDRF funds for Telangana?
Prime Minister Modi was in the city to dedicate to the nation the ‘Statue of Equality, which is of the 11th century Bhakti saint Sri Ramanujacharya and kickstart the 50th-anniversary celebrations of ICRISAT.
Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan, union minister of tourism G Kishan Reddy and Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav were among the VIPs who received the PM. Though it is part of the protocol for state CM to receive PM, KCR stated he had mild fever and hence could not meet the Prime Minister.
