Hyderabad
A supply chain & logistics company, Safexpress, has launched its ultra-modern logistics park in the city. The facility is strategically located on Nagpur-Hyderabad highway (NH 44) and marks the 68th such park set up by the company in the country.
The facility, touted to be the biggest in South India, will be a nodal point for logistics and offer transitional connectivity with all the states in India, especially with manufacturing hubs and nearby districts.
This logistics park is spread over three lakh sq ft, with ultra-modern transshipment and 3PL facilities. This setup aims to boost this region's storage and warehousing needs while offering faster connectivity.
The new logistics park is cross-dock, equipped with loading and unloading more than 50 vehicles at a time. It has a column-less span of over 80 ft, facilitating the uninterrupted movement of goods within the facility. In addition, the facility is equipped with a 16 ft wide cantilever shed which will enable all-weather loading and unloading of goods.
The facility also has an integrated rainwater harvesting system, firefighting equipment, and a dedicated green zone. IT infrastructure and a warehouse management system will back the physical infrastructure.
