Hyderabad
COVID cases are on the decline and the third wave is more or less over. The Telangana Medical Department has clarified that offices can open and the employees should come to the offices as soon as possible. With this, the work from home which was here for two years will be over soon and IT employees will soon move to offices.
IT companies will be sending messages to their staff asking them to be prepared to work in the office by April 1st. About 40 percent of the employees working in the Hyderabad IT sector are in their native places away from the city. Companies are alerted in advance so that they can come back and look for rental housing and hostels.
Vaccination of two vaccine doses for IT employees and their family members has been completed. Companies plan to bring all employees out project-wise rather than all at once. All the employees working on a project will be divided into groups, not all at once will come to the office. Initially, they are told to be ready to work two to three days in the office and the rest of the day at home.
Telangana Government is trying to pressurize the IT companies for a long time to open offices. When the companies started to budge, the third wave has happened. The state government is hellbent to bring employees to the office so that the economy will start running and all those sectors depending on IT employees will survive as well.
