Telangana Government is pressurizing IT companies to call their employees to the offices latest by April 1st to keep the economy moving. The companies are caught between ambitious government and reluctant employees. Meanwhile, TFMC (Telangana Facilities Management Council) is conducting a back-to-office survey on the arrangements of company management and the opinions of the employees.
It has sent online survey forms to over 500 companies with a detailed questionnaire. Each office receives feedback from 10 to 15 employees. TFMC said it was looking to complete the survey in a week. The survey will also be useful for re-opening and companies will also know the opinions of the employees.
On the other hand, IT experts say it is difficult for companies to re-open with 100 percent employees at once. Some will open in the first week of March and the rest in April. Many companies are exploring the possibility of two days office and three days work from home. As a result, managements think that the office environment will become a habit again for employees. They will also start with 15 percent employees and look to do 100 percent by December.
