Once he was operated on, his father helped him to walk again and stood by him like a rock.Once Sachin recovered, he realized the importance of health and fitness. So he took to walking, meditation, and a balanced diet. All this helped him complete the 10K run, though he did the virtual 10k run before this.Sachin now works from home or work from anywhere and is a crusader for a good and healthy lifestyle. He is also working on achieving higher endurance and scaling up wellness activities. From one who was not into sports and was overweight to being able to run a 10k marathon after beating cancer at the age of 43 is a huge achievement for Sachin.

Benz Car Owner Takes Accident Victim To Hospital

Recently, there was an incident when a car went up in flames right on the road. The fire tender arrived on time though the car was totally up in flames. While it’s a rather scary incident, a passerby from the old city frowns that the entire old city barely has three fire stations.The situation is so, particularly in the south zone and its extension area up to Pahadishareef. As of now, there are three fire stations in Moghulpura, Chandulal Baradari, and Malakpet to attend emergency calls in the old city. Incidentally, all the three were set up about 20 years back.The fire station at Chandulal Baradari was set up as there was an industrial area, though the companies later moved to Katedan and Gagan Pahad. Another fire station was sanctioned for Yakutpura. However, due to the unavailability of land, the station was not set up. Though the fire officials requested the government for land, the station did not materialize.However, finally, the fire station was instead set up at the Osmania General Hospital on ‘express instructions’ to attend fire calls from the hospital and surrounding areas. Yakutpura happens to be a densely populated area with about 70 small colonies and slums. The slums have small cottage industries, and small fire accidents are common. But the fire tender comes from Moghalpura, which is between three to four kilometers.Lots of chaotic traffic is a huge problem in this part of the world, and many locals say it would be best if a fire station is opened at Chandrayanagutta. This would help the tender to reach in five minutes, they say. Similarly, locals feel if the government sets up a fire station on Bandlaguda road, then people from Katedan Industrial Area, Falaknuma, Chandrayanagutta, Errakunta, Hafeezbabnagar can be attended to at the earliest.

The incident happened in Neredmet and a complaint has been filed at the local police station. The parents say they did not observe any change in the boy's behavior and this comes as a shock for them.According to Neredmet CI Narsimhaswamy, the couple has two sons aged 15 and 13 in New Vidyanagar. The husband leaves separately leaving the children with the wife. Children are learning lessons at home itself on TV and on a mobile phone without going to school.&nbsp;The youngest son (13) recorded a selfie video on the 1st of this month on a mobile phone.&nbsp;He mentioned that he was going to the real parents of his previous life. Family members searched for the boy in several areas and finally complained to the police. The case is being investigated. Teams have been deployed to trace the boy. CCTV cameras nearby are being verified.

The city has experienced severe flooding in various low-lying areas in the past few years, and this has become a talking point around the country and a scare point for those living in such settlements. So, for the upcoming monsoon season, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has already started taking various measures so that the low-lying areas are not inundated during the rains.While some of the measures are already in place, the remaining tasks will be taken up when the monsoon approaches. The officials share that the works include ensuring that the stormwater drain network is without any blockages in and around the GHMC area under the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP). They have already appointed officials for every lake to monitor during the rainy season. The officials have also been given tasks like looking after the demolition of dilapidated buildings, pressing into service monsoon action teams, and desilting of nalas or drains.The municipal officials are focusing on rehabilitating poor families and removing encroachments so that the drains can be widened to allow the flow of water during the monsoons. The GHMC intends to complete the SNDP works before the rains hit the city.Other major works will include having an exclusive monsoon team for each GHMC circle, and officials will be appointed to maintain the inflows and outflows of lakes and other water bodies. GHMC also intends to deploy mobile monsoon teams and static labor teams. While the labor teams will be available at strategic locations to drain out rainwater immediately, the mobile monsoon teams will be mobile in localities and will attend to rain-related complaints.The teams will work by pumping out water, clearing catch pits, clogged drains, uprooted trees, tangled wires, etc. Water pumps, crowbars, and tree cutters are being provided to the teams, along with safety gear. Another important decision taken by the Town Planning wing of the civic body was to instruct deputy city planners and assistant city planners to take necessary action against dilapidated buildings and submit a report.

E-commerce and consumer durables companies have pushed up the warehousing demand in H2 2021 in Hyderabad. Incidentally, the warehousing sector had 66 percent demand from e-commerce, followed by consumer durables, which had 17 percent demand.Hyderabad is being looked upon as a warehousing hub as the government has been developing infrastructure in the western and northern corridors of the city. Also, the city is strategically positioned in the south-central zone, which is one of the reasons behind the increased demand.According to Cushman and Wakefield, leasing activity recorded a growth of around 15 percent, with 1.75 million sq ft of space getting leased in H2 2021. If one looks at the annual figures, leasing activity witnessed significant growth, with 3.3 million sq ft of space being leased. This, in short, means a growth of 60 percent from 2020.The hubs of warehousing happen to be places like Patancheru, Edulanagulapally, Gundlapochampally, Medchal, and Kallakal in the western and north-western corridors are expected to witness maximum traction in the coming days.Also, on its part, the state government has come up with a new policy for the logistics sector in the second half of 2021 to attract an investment of Rs 10,000 crore by 2026. Freight traffic is expected to grow further this year.
