Hyderabad
Summer has set in Hyderabad. We are already feeling the pinch during the daytime even though the night temperatures are relatively better. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has made a very interesting forecast for this summer (March-May). The department has released a map of maximum temperature outlook for the entire country.
Most of the South India is in the below normal summer temperatures zone. For Telangana, the forecast indicates that we may have Below Normal Summer heat even this year just like last year. This means there is a probability of having more summer rains during April - May.
Cooler nights would prevail over southern India till May, the forecast says. The probability of heatwaves over west-central and northwest India will be higher during summer. We are in a La Nina year, the intensity and frequency of heatwaves are lesser.
