Hyderabad
TSRTC has been the talk of the town ever since VC Sajjanar took over as RTC MD. Sajjanar, who has decided to enhance the image of the Telangana RTC, is in constant touch with the people using social media taking several key decisions to improve RTC services. RTC is trying to provide better services and security to women and young children in particular.
By that, the corporation targets to increase the occupancy on the buses and increase revenues. The RTC has recently decided to provide a free bus facility to children below 12 years of age. The Corporation has now decided to provide baby trolleys free of charge for female passengers arriving at bus stands across the state. As part of this, it has set up baby trolleys at large bus stands in the state.
The launch of TSRTC 'Baby Trolley' services at MGBS in Hyderabad has come as a huge relief to female passengers carrying children. As Hyderabad MGBS is a very big bus stand, those who want to travel from here sometimes have a hard time carrying children on their way to their respective stages. In this order, baby trolleys were set up and mothers are expressing happiness at this passenger-friendly initiative.
