Hyderabad
A Vet clinic in Kondapur has done something unimaginable on a dog. The dog owner, Shanti Mani took her dog for a minor operation to Dr. Ramesh of Mr. Vet, Kondapur, Hyderabad. The doctor put the dog on a heater and then left the clinic. The dog was literally cooked on one side. The dog owner approached People for Animals India complaining about the doctor.
PFA which is India's largest animal welfare organization with a nationwide network ran a social media campaign demanding the arrest of the vet and cancellation of his license. "If you believe that this vet should be arrested and lose his license write to the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, Veterinary Council of Telangana, and to the Veterinary Council of India presidentvci@gmail.com," the campaign said.
Animal lovers are shell-shocked with the negligence of the vet and are demanding stern action on the doctor including arrest and cancellation of his license under prevention of cruelty to animals. At the time of writing this article, Gachibowli police are yet to register a case on the vet and the pet clinic.
