Hyderabad traffic police conducted a special drive on Sunday. Cars spotted plying with fake stickers, MLA stickers, and black films were fined. The stickers and black films were also removed. Special drives were conducted on Sunday at several places in Khairatabad, including Indira Gandhi Chowrasta, Filmnagar, and Jubilee Hills check post. Inspections were carried out at the Jubilee Hills check post under the supervision of Jubilee Hills Traffic Inspector Muthu. Vehicles with black films and stickers were identified and removed.
As part of this, the police found a black film on the car belonging to Junior NTR. The car was stopped and the black film was removed. There was no NTR in the car at the time. Along with the driver were the son of a Junior NTR and another man. According to the rules of the Supreme Court, Passengers in the car must be clearly visible, it is known that fitting glasses with black film coating is against the rules.
Saifabad Traffic Inspector Ramchander and Jubilee Hills CI Muthu said a total of 90 vehicles had their black film removed and some fined. Traffic police have identified and removed vehicles with MLA stickers bearing the name of MLA Guvala Balaraju, MIM MLA Meraj Hussain, and Puttaparthi MLA Duddukunta Sridhar Reddy in Andhra Pradesh. Vehicles that do not have a number plate properly were also fined.
Traffic police became alert after a road accident in Jubilee Hills. It is learned that the accident took place while the son of Bodhan MLA was in the car. A small baby died in the accident and a woman was injured. The whereabouts of Rehan, son of Bodhan MLA Shakeel, are currently unknown. The police are looking for him. So, special drives are on to identify the cars plying with fake stickers and black films.
