Hyderabad
This is really good news for Bhagyanagar residents. The state government has prepared a roadmap for the development of Hyderabad and is completing the development work expeditiously. As part of this, another huge project will be made available to the public soon. Four new link road corridors have been developed with the aim of improving road connectivity and providing hassle-free traffic to motorists.
Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL) has already completed the work on these link roads. Minister KTR will start them soon. These link roads will help reduce traffic congestion in major corridors by using them as an alternative means of transportation and parallel routes. Link corridors can also help establish commercial establishments, increase property value, reduce pollution levels, and reduce travel time on major highways.
These are the four corridors. 1. The 4.74 km link corridor between Central Ground Water Board and Peerjadiguda Road has been developed at a cost of Rs.35.64 crore. 2. A 1 km long road from the old Bombay Highway to Malkamcheru, Khajaguda Road over Chitrapuri Colony constructed at a cost of Rs. 14.85 crore. 3. A 1.70 km corridor between Khajaguda Lake and Outer Ring Road parallel to the Maulana Azad National Urdu University compound wall was constructed at a cost of Rs. 40.09 crores. 4. 1.4 km vehicle underpass on Corridor No. 23 between Road No. 45 from Old Bombay Highway (Leather Park) at a cost of Rs. 20.22 crores.
