Hyderabad
A good number of IT Companies in Hyderabad have started their office operations on Monday. They are currently following a hybrid model asking the employees to come to the office for 2-3 days a week and work from home for the remaining days. This model will be slowly extended to complete 'Work From Office' mode in the coming days.
IT employees who went to their natives are coming back to the city. To-let boards are slowly disappearing from the apartments. Also, the house owners, after facing heavy losses for two years, have hiked the rents as the demand is on a rise. Bachelor employees are joining hostels near the company.
Just like how it is before Corona, the apartments in KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Hydernagar, Vasant Nagar, Nizampet, Addagutta Society, Bhagyanagar Colony, Pragati Nagar, Miyapur, Chandanagar, Hafeezpet, Madhapur, Kondapur, Gachibowli, Alwyn Colony, Moosapet, Gopal Nagar, and Gokul flats are in high demand. Hostels in these areas are getting fully occupied.
With the start of the new academic year in another two months, IT employees are also taking care of their children in school admissions. Daycare centers and Pre-schools which were remained under lock and key for a long time are re-opening as well. Food businesses dependent on IT employees are also booming. Food trucks are bustling with activity in most areas.
Housekeeping employees and workers are also happy that IT companies are putting an end to work from home. Millions of employees working in the housekeeping department have lost their livelihood and were in trouble. Now they are all happy. The transport sector will also benefit greatly if IT employees commute to the offices.
