Have you ever imagined riding a bicycle on a tightrope high above the ground with nothing much to support you? Yes, the thought itself is adrenaline-pumping. Well, that is what the city's first-ever sky cycling has in store for you. Fixed at the gaming zone called 'Pitstop' at Necklace Road, the venue has become the go-to spot for several families and youngsters interested in some adventure activities. The venue also has adventures like rope course, ziplining, tire climbing, and many more.
Prashanth CS, who is a software professional, is the man behind bringing sky cycling to Hyderabad. He says that he had heard about sky cycling in other places and thought of having Hyderabad's first-ever sky cycling zone. After thorough research on the safety standards and the functioning of the adventure ride, he decided to open the gaming zone.
He says the rope is currently designed to take around 85 kg of weight, and he has plans to increase the weight limit to 100 kg to accommodate more folks. The trainers who guide the visitors are all professionals in the use of different kinds of harnesses, ropes, and so on to ensure the best-provided safety options for the adventure seekers.
Pitstop is also known for its bowling, go-karting, bungee jumping, bumping cars, and various food stalls. The 360-degree cycle is also a crowd favorite where one can experience the thrill of cycling in a complete circle.
According to Susheel Yadav, who is an adventure guide at Pitstop, these adventures come at very reasonable rates. While sky cycling costs Rs 300, the zipline is for Rs 250. One can also choose customizable packages, depending on the activities, when in a large group. However, one has to sign a self-responsibility form at the beginning of every adventure.
