Everyone knows how difficult it is to perform traffic duties. Traffic personnel on duty have to perform their duty in sun, rain, and pollution without even a chance to take a rest. Furthermore, their hard work is rarely recognized. But one traffic home guard had a memorable day on Friday after he got praise from the High Court Chief Justice himself.
The incident took place at Abids in Hyderabad. Telangana High Court Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma honored Ashraf Ali, a traffic home guard on duty at the Jagjivan Ram statue in Abids. The CJ who often passes through that route observed his performance and commitment.
On Thursday, on the way to the High Court, CJ stopped his vehicle and congratulated the home guard by giving him a bouquet. Ashraf Ali, who got a pleasant shock by this unexpected honor and thanked the High Court CJ profusely. Later on, speaking to the media, he said it is an honor to be recognized by the CJ and it will motivate him to work harder.
