Summer is taking a toll on city folks for the last few days. Hyderabad, the state capital, will mostly experience dry weather for the next one week though there are chances of rain in Hyderabad on Saturday evening, the Hyderabad Meteorological Department said. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers could be expected in some places on Saturday.
The maximum temperature recorded in Hyderabad on Wednesday was 38.2 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in the city are likely to hover between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius in the next two days. Temperatures of 39 to 42 degrees Celsius are expected in many parts of the state, the Met office said.
Adilabad district recorded the highest temperature of 43.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Nizamabad district recorded 42.7 degrees Celsius and Kamareddy district 41.8 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department said the highest temperature recorded in the GHMC was 38.9 degrees Celsius at Addagutta on Thursday.
