Metro trains are buzzing with IT employees. About 2.20 lakh people traveled every day till the end of March. Currently, the number of passengers has increased to 2.75 lakh, Metro officials said. The officials say that special measures are being taken to cater to the passenger congestion as the impact of the corona has diminished.
IT companies have fully opened their offices in the wake of the normal situation. Employees have been coming to the offices and working since the first week of April. As a result, the number of IT employees traveling on the Metro train is steadily increasing. Metro trains are bustling right now with passengers.
Metro trains are available from LB Nagar, Nagole, Miyapur, Secunderabad, and Ameerpet areas of the city to Madhapur and Rayadurg in the IT corridor. Currently, the number of IT employees traveling on the Metro train is steadily increasing. Metro officials said they were increasing the frequency of trains on the way to the IT corridor in line with the number of passengers. At present, there is one train every 5 minutes during peak hours and arrangements have been made to run one train every 3 minutes in view of the increasing passenger congestion.
