Hyderabad
Telangana Government has announced four super-specialty hospitals on the four corners of Hyderabad. The government has given the administrative sanction of Rs 2,400 crore for the construction of hospitals. Permission orders are likely to reach the Roads and Buildings Department within one to two days.
The engineering officials will then call for tenders and select the construction company. After that, construction work will then begin. The government is going to build these hospitals on a big scale so as to compete with the big corporate hospitals. These hospitals will make advanced health care available and affordable to the people.
The Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) has already been set up at the Sports Building in Gachibowli during COVID. Another new building with state-of-the-art facilities will be constructed on the premises. CM KCR has already decided to build state-of-the-art hospitals at Gaddiannaram Fruit Market near Dilsukhnagar, Alwal, and Chest hospital premises at Sanath Nagar. To this end, the authorities have made proposals.
