Already life has become easy thanks to e-payments, and to make it easier, digital payments solutions company XPay.Life has announced plans to offer UPI and services for the Hyderabad market. The firm is already working on digitizing payment methods and also providing customers with various options to pay bills at their convenience.
In fact, the digitization efforts will provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs too. XPay.Life offers a point of sales machines where customers can pay bills through cash or UPI. It will also have touch-screen kiosks at different locations for the convenience of users. And if that was not enough, the company will also operate a mobile van that will travel to set locations on select days of the week. This will allow payments through both touch-screen kiosks and mobile PoS installed in the van.
The mobile van will also allow customers to book LPG cylinders, pay mobile and electricity bills, insurance premium payment, DTH recharges, and more. The mobile vans are provided to various district cooperative central banks and regional rural banks. XPay.Life has so far deployed more than 100 mobile vans in India.
The mobile vans are user-friendly and solar-powered. The UPS gets charged when driven around. The idea is financial inclusion says it's XPay.Life founder and CEO Rohit Kumar who adds that more offerings will be added in the future.
He says he is excited about entering the Hyderabad market and points out that their objective is to fill the gaps in financial inclusion and digitize various financial offerings.
