A student's life ended just four months after he went to America for higher studies. Pichetti Vamsi Krishna (23), an MS student from Hyderabad, was killed on the spot when another car collided. This happened when he went shopping with friends. Khammam resident Pawan (23) was also killed and three other students were injured.
The condition of one of these injured is serious. Shashi Kiran, the eldest son of Varaprasad, a private bank manager living in Reddy's Avenue Colony, Nizampet, and JNTU Professor Dr. Padmajarani, moved to the US seven years ago for higher studies. Their youngest son, Vamsi Krishna, completed his B.Tech last year and left for the US on December 28th.
There, he is doing an MS at the University of Southern Illinois. On Thursday morning (4.30 pm IST on the 22nd of this month), ten students went shopping in two different cars. On the way back, a woman driving another car hit one of the cars on Chicago Road. Pawan, who was driving the car, and Vamsi Krishna, who was sitting in the back seat, were killed on the spot. Kalyan, Karthik, and Srikanth were injured. In this, Kalyan's situation seems to be serious.
