Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao performed Bhoomi Pooja to three Super specialty hospitals at Kothapet (LB Nagar), Erragadda Chest Hospital (Sanath Nagar), Alwal in the capital city of Hyderabad. Ministers Harish Rao, Mahmood Ali, Vemula Prashant Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mallareddy, Sabita Indrareddy, MLAs Maganti Gopinath, Mynampalli Hanumanth Rao, Vivekananda Goud, Kaleru Venkatesh, and several public representatives participated.
These three hospitals provide specialty and super specialty medical services. PG specialty, super specialty seats, and nursing, and paramedical colleges will also be available for medical education. Each TIMS will be built with a capacity of 1000 beds. Each hospital will have 26 operating theaters, 300 ICU beds, and an oxygen facility.
The government will build a 1,000-bed hospital on 14 floors (G+13) on 17 acres. Rs 882 crore has been earmarked for this multi-super specialty hospital.
A 1,000-bed hospital will be built on 21 floors (G+20) on 21.36 acres. Rs 900 crore has been earmarked for this multi-super specialty hospital.
This will be a 1,000-bed hospital on 5 floors (G+4) on 28.41 acres. Rs 897 crore has been earmarked for this multi-super specialty hospital.
Super-specialty services for districts:
The four super-specialty hospitals built around Greater will also bring medical services closer to the people of various districts in the state. People from Siddipet, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Nirmal, and other districts can easily reach without any problem, especially due to the super specialty hospital being built between Alwal and ORR.
Due to the super specialty hospital being constructed in the Gaddiannaram Fruit Market, people from Nalgonda, Warangal, and Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri districts will be benefitted. People from Rangareddy, Sangareddy and Medak areas can easily reach TIMS in Gachibowli. Patients coming from those districts will be able to avail services of Gachibowli TIMS without having to go to NIMS, Osmania, and Gandhi in the city.
