The Archaeological Survey of India, a central government agency attached to the Union Ministry of Culture, has stated that there was no evidence of mosques built on Hindu religious sites during previous centuries in Hyderabad.The statement was released after social activist Robin Zaccheus filed a Right to Information or RTA petition and asked ‘if ASI had any historical evidence pertaining to ancient mosques in India built on Hindu religious sites.’ He also enquired about details of all such ancient mosques in Telangana in which Hindu religious temples existed.The ASI replied, ‘none of the monuments/ sites under the jurisdiction of the Archaeological Survey of India, Hyderabad circle in Telangana state have any evidence of ancient mosques built on Hindu religious sites.’The reply was tweeted by the RTI activist in an indirect reply to BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s recent alleged challenge to dig up mosques in Hyderabad to see if there were Shiva Lingas beneath, hinting that there was no need for such comments or dig-ups.The activist also tagged AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, saying there was no mosque under the PM’s residence in Delhi either. He also tweeted, “Let peace &amp; communal harmony prevail in India &amp; our wonderful city #Hyderabad.”

Anusha designed the website herself to include her requirements.Incidentally, the receivers don’t have to buy textbooks, and Anusha feels that if the chain continues, the need for trees is bound to reduce. She feels it’s our duty to save our planet for the future and to take actions that will make a difference in the future.Anusha’s mother is pretty pleased with her daughter’s drive and says Anusha faced initial problems when she could not procure saplings. Getting into the details, Malakpet cops took a house looter into custody by using the food order slips placed by the identified man Imran alias Syed Aejaz from Sohail Restaurant located in Chanderghat.As per the police version, Syed Aejaz, who is a biryani freak, used to order food from the restaurant mentioned above through Zomato frequently. Reportedly, taking a car mechanic named Syed Iftequar Uddin's complaint into consideration of missing 5 lakh cash and gold items in the house, the Malakpet cops started fieldwork and caught Syed Aejaz with the help of his Biryani orders placed after each house robbery from nearby locations in the old city.Reports say that the Malakpet police took Syed into custody in Bangalore and booked him under 380 and 454 sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for committing theft in residential complexes. For better traffic management at junctions in the state capital, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has adopted new Adaptive Traffic Signal Control (ATSC) systems that change traffic signal colors based on real-time traffic data.Developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the state-of-the-art adaptive control algorithm known as Composite Signal Control Strategy (CoSiCoSt) adjusts the cycle time, green splits, and offsets to support coordinating with nearby intersections to manage area-wise traffic in real time.The ATSC systems will automatically and continuously adjust the green times based on the changing approaching patterns of vehicles at an intersection. The idea is to optimize a combination of delay and number of stops.The system will use camera-based detectors to constantly monitor movements at junctions, and it will create new timing sequences to match them. A centralized system will monitor the data of each junction and optimizes the system at a network level to ensure the synchronization of signals to reduce system delays.As of now, the ATSC and Pelican Signal System (PSS) projects consist of 122 ATSC signals, 94 pelican signals, and 213 existing HTRIMS signals across Hyderabad. The ATSC system will improve traffic flows along major corridors in the city through a combination of local and network-level optimization.The 94 Pelican signals equipped with a push button facility provide safe pedestrian crossing, and these signals have been installed at strategic locations such as hospitals, colleges/ schools, and commercial, public places where the pedestrian footfall is high.
