It has been almost six months since 2022 started and in Hyderabad, various commercial activities have been taking place with a lot of tie-ups, acquisitions, and growth in the realty sector. If one looks at all of India's progress, the last month of 2021 had seen positive growth in retail, hospitality, education, and other sectors. But the good news is that Hyderabad has surpassed Bengaluru when it came to recruitment with 12% growth.
If one were to compare the figures with those of 2020, the fag end of 2021 saw far more recruitments in metro cities and other big cities of India. While the IT recruitments continued to happen, the overall economy was in good shape due to recruitments in the hospitality, travel, retail, and realty sectors. In the last quarter of 2021, there was a growth of 22% in recruitments in the hospitality sector, while retail saw 20% growth and education saw 12% growth.
As compared to 2020, Hyderabad saw 12% growth in recruitments, while Bengaluru came next with 11%, Mumbai was at 8%, Pune was at 4%, and Chennai was at 6%.
On the other hand, while Delhi's figures remained static, Kolkata saw a cut down by 3%.On the other hand, Ahmedabad topped the list of developing cities with 21% recruitment. IT, pharma, and banking sectors backed the robust growth. The demand for those with 4-7 years of experience remained stable, demand for those with 8-12 years of experience reduced by 4%, while demand for those with 13-16 years of experience reduced by 9%.
