In what could have been an issue over financial transactions, a firing incident in the city has made people sit up and take to media. The said incident occurred at the Gunfoundry branch of SBI on Wednesday.
According to eyewitnesses, the security guard who fired shots at the employee of the bank Surender opened fire after an altercation between both of them. The security guard identified as Sardar Khan shot two rounds at Surender, who was immediately rushed to the Hyderguda Apollo Hospital. He is said to be out of danger as the bullets went through his rib cage.
The police immediately reached the spot and took Sardar Khan into custody. The employees shared that Sardar Khan was working as a security guard for the past 20 years at the main branch of SBI in Abids.
