.At around 9.30 pm on Sunday, Abhishek picked up Sai Prakash, another friend, along with the girls, and went to the Snort pub at Madhapur. Chinmay and Vivek, two other friends from the same apartment, reached there in another car. They all partied hard until 11 PM at night and left again. Abhishek and Sai Prakash drank alcohol in the pub. They were sitting in the front of the car while the girls were sitting in the back seat. As they approached My Home Mangala Apartments in Kondapur, the speeding car suddenly overturned and took four somersaults on the side of the road, and flipped over. Abhishek and Sai Prakash, who were sitting in the front were wearing seat belts when the air balloons opened and they were slightly injured.
Ashritha who was sitting in the back seat of the car was pushed out of the door and sustained serious injuries. Chinmay and Vivek, who were following them in another car, spotted the car accident and rushed the four to the Kims Hospital. Ashritha has been declared brought dead while Taruni is being treated for serious injuries. Gachibowli police and traffic police reached the spot, registered a case, and are investigating. Abhishek was taken into custody. Accident details are being collected by collecting CCTV footage at the scene as well as at the snort pub on Hitex Road. They were tested with a breath analyzer and it was proved that Abhishek had consumed alcohol. Ashritha would have been saved if they wore the seat belts, police say.
