Robberies and thefts are quite rampant in the current days as con men continue to devise new plans and ways to trick people and loot away all the money or articles and leave the people with no clue for a while and go untraceable.
The mainstream robberies at houses and banks never went out of trend, but new places of robberies like shops, fuel stations, and small offices are on the rise, and the police are pretty puzzled as to how people are fooled so easily after knowing so much. Two men recently robbed Rajeshwari Kirana Store in Madhuri Nagar under the RGIA police limits in the early hours of Sunday.
The two robbers who had their eyes on this shop for quite some time crept into the open shutter at about 5:30 AM, picked up cartons of cigarettes, put them in a gunny sack, and left. The robbers picked up cigarettes worth 3 Lakh rupees and got away before the early morning.
The CCTV grab couldn't get their faces, but the guy who was filling the gunny bags wore a checkered shirt and a cap and was handing it over to the guy who wore a light-colored t-shirt and dark jeans guarding the shop. A case has been registered, and the police are on the lookout for these two men while the shop remains closed for the time being.
