The business of massage centers and spas was one of the worst-hit during this pandemic as the whole job required touching an unknown person and treating various pressure points of their body. While any human contact was super dangerous until the reduction of the second wave, this industry also sprung back with protocols like sterilized equipment, full latex hand gloves for massage, and treatment of only vaccinated or covid negative patients.
The return of spas and massage centers helped people revive themselves from physical stress and mental calm to the extent that greedy and evil organizers started their racket of prostitution at these massage parlors. Tricking customers by cross massaging, using intoxicating perfumes, and many other tricks are now back.
The rate at which this is happening in the city is alarming as the police raided five massage centers in 3 weeks and found the above activities rampant. The above activities are not just a simple tactic but involve a big trade that parlor owners and organizers indulge in to make up for the losses incurred during the pandemic and pay their masseuse their salaries.
But, unfortunately, apart from just paying their employee, the maintenance of the space they own at prime locations also was relatively high and was not attracting them any business. This made these organizers start this business in semi-residential areas as well. Apart from the raids, the police have noticed prime locations like Banjara Hills, Ameerpet, Jubilee Hills, and Dilsukhnagar are indulging in such sex trades or flesh trade being and advises people to use their discretion wisely before visiting any such place.
